Technology at your service
I use state-of-the-art translation memory and terminology management software on all jobs. Such computer-aided translation (CAT) tools allow me to capture an ever-growing, dynamic, searchable multilingual database as I work. This is a great benefit to the client, as it ensures consistency of style and terminology within a single document and—more importantly—in follow-up assignments, even months or years later.
I maintain a continuously evolving translation database with unique subsets for each client.
Professionalism by association
I have obtained certification by the American Translators Association (ATA) as a translator of German to English and maintain this credential through continuing education. I am an active member in good standing of the ATA and adhere to its Code of Ethics and Professional Practice.
I proudly serve as President of my regional ATA chapter, the Northern California Translators Association.
I earned and actively maintain the qualifications for the ProZ.com Certified PRO network.
Meet me at the 58th Annual Conference of the American Translators Association in Washington, D.C.!
